JXV Limo Services ("JXV," "we," "us") provides chauffeured transportation on Long Island and in the New York City area. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and when you book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you request a quote or book a ride, you give us:
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- Trip details: dates, times, pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, number of passengers, luggage, and flight or cruise information
- Special requests you choose to share, such as car seats, mobility assistance or traveling with a pet
- Payment information when you pay for a ride. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote and confirm, schedule and carry out your ride
- To contact you about your trip by phone, text or email, including confirmations, driver details and flight-delay updates
- To meet special requests and keep passengers safe
- To keep business records and meet legal, insurance and tax obligations
- To prevent spam, fraud and misuse of the site
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages about your quote and reservation: price quotes, confirmations, driver and vehicle details, pickup updates and follow-ups. Message frequency varies with your trip. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call (646) 360-8236.
- Agreeing to texts is not a condition of booking. You can always call us instead.
- We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
How we share it
We share information only as needed to run our service:
- Your chauffeur receives the trip details needed to complete your ride.
- Service providers that work for us, such as our website host and form service (Netlify), our payment processor, and our phone, text and email providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of passengers, chauffeurs or the public.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
Do Not Track: because this site does not track visitors across other websites or use advertising cookies, it does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and booking records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and insurance record-keeping requirements, and then delete them.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, as New York law requires. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send full card numbers through the quote form or by text.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons. To make a request, call or text (646) 360-8236.
Children
This site is meant for adults booking transportation. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Passengers who are minors, for example on prom night, must be booked by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
